One of fiction’s most famous impostors returns on Thursday with the debut of Netflix’s “Ripley,” the latest adaptation of a character invented in the 1950s by the author Patricia Highsmith. Over nearly seven decades, Tom Ripley has appeared in five books by Highsmith, five films, multiple television episodes and even a radio show. He has been played by interpreters as varied as Matt Damon, Alain Delon, Dennis Hopper, John Malkovich and now, Andrew Scott. In 1969, the year that “Slogan” came out, Birkin had a supporting role in Jacques Deray’s scorching, now cult thriller “La Piscine” alongside Alain Delon and Romy Schneider. Throwing yet another twist into her career is that after Gainsbourg, Birkin was in a relationship with the uncompromising filmmaker Jacques Doillon. It felt like a new Jane Birkin, inhabiting her physicality in a way that was almost dangerously unrestrained — and it earned her the first of three César Award nominations. The next year, she appeared in a Marivaux play directed by the influential Patrice Chéreau at his Nanterre theater. RFI a anunţat, că regina Elisabeta a Marii Britanii, fostul premier francez Laurent Fabius, actorii Alain Delon şi Line Renaud, precum şi omul de afaceri Bernard Tapie au murit, cu toate că aceştia sunt în viaţă. „O problemă tehnică a condus la publicarea eronată a mai multor necrologuri pe site-ul nostru", a precizat într-un comunicat RFI, care a cerut scuze celor vizaţi. Necrologurile needitate au apărut automat pe site-uri partenere, inclusiv Yahoo, MSN şi Twitter, a notat radiodifuzorul. RFI a şters rapid necrologurile publicate, însă răul fusese deja făcut. Unii s-au amuzat, spre exemplu Line Renaud, care a publicat pe Twitter o fotografie în care râde, alături de câinele ei.
